The administration committee of tourist spots of the ancient city of Langzhong is located on Guancaiyuan Street of Langzhong. It is a functional department of tourist administration under the overall management of municipal Party committee and municipal government of Langzhong. Meanwhile, it is the general command post for Langzhong winning the title of tourist city of 4A degree. It is divided into units such as office, programming and construction department, comprehensive administration department, relic-protection department, safety management department, city management detachment, fire-fighting detachment, police station of the tourist spots of the ancient city, Langzhong Mingcheng Investment Co. Ltd., and so on. Its functions mainly include: with the cultivation and development of Langzhong tourist industry, making full use of the tourist industry’s role of organization, coordination and making decisions on major issues; according to different functions of each department, framing policies and measures pushing forward together the development of tourist industry; according to the rule of separating resource management from operation and development, carrying out the integrative administration of the tourist spots; according to the characteristics of tourist resources in our city, making a scientific arrangement and reasonable development as well as creation of tourist production; speeding up wining the title of national 4A degree tourist spot of the ancient city of Langzhong and Jinping Mountain; deepening the further development of traditional tourist products; quickening exploiting the leisure and vacation tourist products; and further developing tourist resources with profound history and culture as well as Langzhong characteristics.
